Seeing as how over the past few years RTTP has been doing VERY well, why has there been no breakdown of the forum to genre sub-threads?

For instance, instead of breaking down forum topics into "Classifieds," "News," etc, why not "Metal," "Sissy Hardcore," "Unwashed Smelly Punk," etc? At the very least, it would guide users to their respective points of interest; if nothing else it would make the task of filtering through the staggering gigabytes of Emo-comments easier to bear.

Hell, it may even encourage a few of us to stop posting anonymously.

in theory the idea of separating the forum into different musical genres would work, but in reality, it would fucking suck. think about how differently people classify music, and then think about how much fucking eFighting/bitching would ensue thereafter. it would turn this forum into an absolute hellhole. well, it already is a hellhole, but it would be an un-fun hellhole.
