Seasoned drummer Tim Yeung (Hate Eternal, Vital Remains) will temporarily join Massachusetts-based metal band ALL THAT REMAINS on the band's current set of scheduled live dates, including a run with fellow Bay Staters Killswitch Engage and a three-week tour with DragonForce throughout the United Kingdom in November and December. Yeung has already made his presence known in the metal world having showcased his playing with Hate Eternal, Decrepit Birth, Vital Remains and Aurora Borealis among others, as well as earning the World's Fastest Drummer title at the 2006 summer NAMM show in Austin, Texas earlier this year. More information on Yeung can be found at his official website (www.timyeung.com) or his MySpace page (www.myspace.com/TimYeung).

Subsequently, ALL THAT REMAINS is currently seeking a full-time drummer to join the band upon returning to America in mid-December. Interested parties can contact inquire via the band's official MySpace page (www.myspace.com/allthatremains) and message the band with the heading "attn: drummer." Links to videos of interested candidates playing "This Calling" and "The Weak Willed" from ALL THAT REMAINS' new album, 'The Fall of Ideals' are required.

Tim is really challenging himself these days haha

I'd be surprised if he can stay awake playing this stuff.

i remember him talking about wanting to join static-x when he was hanging out at a hotel during new jersey metalfest a few years ago. the guy just wants money. he doesn't care what band he plays for.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Nov 7,2006 12:56pm
maybe he wants to make more money so he can fund other projects that are more tailored to his taste.

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at Nov 7,2006 12:57pm
if i was that good at drums and could make a living doing the things that he does, i'd do it. he still gets to play stuff that he likes. when he said he wanted to join static-x he also said he'd still play death metal on the side.

Drummers like Tim are not making the kind of money they should be. Fuck it! As long as its not a emo punk band, and it pays some of the bills why not do it.

seems like a bit of a waste. I guess the newest ATR album had some good double bass work. Yet, I never bothered to buy or download it...hmm.

The new All That Remains is actually really really good and does have some fast double bass and some moderate blasting.
