due to circumstances completely within our control birth rites has given up the ghost. we're dead. jonathan overdosed, charles drove into a brick wall drunk, derek got into an altercation with some lost vikings. tom and kyle are still alive. so i guess we're not all dead after all.

thank you to everyone who supported us, anyone who came out to shows. more especially thanks to everyone who talked shit, started shit and thought we we're terrible. jump into a bag of razors and octopi.

there could be a last show. any videos we have will be posted on youtube or something to that effect. there will be a last release some point before the year is over. it will be cheap. if anyone is interested send an email to: allstonviolence@gmail.com

it's completely true. birth rites is dead. we caught the fucking gay dragon and then it just became pointless, you know. in all actuality the end was the most fucking retarded thing i have ever dealt with, but whatever. thank you to everyone who ever came to one of our shows, complained about how awful we were or in general just gave enough of a fuck to listen. also i forgot to mention thank you to the reverend for coming out to shows and taking pictures of us ensuring that tom would always have a lasting memory of the teri shiavo face he makes when playing drums.

jonny is in mj-xii now. derek has a band going in lowell, where he goes to school. i'm doing onetwothreeteeth with members of grrls out of hell.

here's to the new hampshire curse.
