Asylum sucks. I heard they turned down the dark funeral package that's going on at Mark's, because the Asylum wants to stay away from metal. This bill is about as heavy as they will go now.. what a waste of a good venue.

Actually no, I've been to a few good metal shows at the Asylum in the past, so that's not true I'm sure.

I know for a fact the Asylum turned the Dark Funeral package down. Trust me, they don't want metal; therefore, they suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well how long ago did they change management because it must of been very recently? If they keep getting Fest like this one coming up, I don't think there's going to be much to complain about, but then again I'm more of a stoner rock kind of guy and not a DAHHHK Funeral one. It doesn't really matter anyways, Maine is sort of a haul for me.

And also... Dark Funeral shouldn't be headlining, ENSLAVED is 1000000x more appreciated. Fuck Dark Funeral and their reeking gayness!

the best show at the asylum was incantation with the chasm, on one incredibly cold evening, and everyone sucked except the chasm and it was one of those shows that will never be forgotten ever. And I doubt there will ever be a metal show like that at the asylum again, ever.

.....but this will still be a pretty good show.
