Worst horror movie ever made was Manos: The Hands of Fate. You will seriously want to kill someone for having to suffer through it after watching (if you even make it through the whole movie).

Blair Witch Project was a good movie. I stand behind that.

i actually liked house of 1000 corpses. it wasn't a fucking masterpiece. it was pretty funny though. his wife is more annoying than shit but that just makes me want to punch her in the spine and put her in a headlock so that's cool i guess. the clown was pretty funny.

Personally, I thought it was a really interesting and subversive movie. For the most part I don't like horror movies. They're formulaic, predictable, too dependent on special effects, and rely on cheap tricks to get reactions from people. The whole thing is shot in the dark waiting for something to jump out and scare you, the movies always have the same progression that builds up to some CGI monster revealing itself in the end (which by that time isn't frightening at all). Seriously, when was the last time you were actually frightened by the appearance of a monster, or murderer or whatever in a horror movie.

Blair Witch was the first neo-realist horror movie. Natural lighting, no special effects, no soundtrack, no cheap tricks. The result (I thought) was something genuinely interesting, entertaining, and subversive. Look at the scenes when they're hearing noises in the woods... the majority of what's scary in those scenes isn't what's visual, it's auditory. Instead of overloading you with visuals it gives you something to feel, something to let your imagination play with a little, and the visuals merely compliment it. It was things like that that made me enjoy the movie.

Furthermore, for a little while BWP had people convinced it was real. That hasn't happened since Orson Welles War of the Worlds. That, right there, is the mark of an effective movie.

I can see how someone wouldn't like it. A lot of people went into it expecting to see a traditional horror movie, and were disappointed with it. And a lot of weiners, and nerds complained of motion sickness when they watched it.

the original blairwitch was an awesome movie. it's 99 I downloaded it. this was before all the crap came out on SCI-FI, etc. the "buzz" on the net was that it was real. it hadn't played kahn yet, but had been leaked to the web. it freaked the shit out of me AT 11AM ON A WEEKDAY!

BWP was so weak.The ending was by far one of the worst Ive ever seen.The guy standing in the corner looks like hes taking a piss.

Redneck zombies sucked so bad it was totally worth watchin! I was drunk, so whos to say.

it wasn't shot as a horror movie. it was shot as a bunch of kids with video cameras with no outside footage (unlike The Last Broadcast). it was a very inovative way to do things.

I like Dead Next Door and Day of the Dead 2.Sometimes bad acting can be a good thing

you forgot Last House on the Left, possibly one of the worst movies i've ever had the displeasure of enduring. i just gave my copy away because it was bringing down the morale of my good horror movies.

Last House did suck.But its cool when the parents flip out and kill all the freaks at the end.

one of the weirdest scenes ever is in Last House... when that guy is having a dream sequence about the parents chiseling out his teeth. Ugh.

the only two parts that were remotely entertaining from Last House were single lines: "tits? what is this tits business?" and "piss....your....pants"

i thought Jeepers Creepers would have been better if the killer wasnt some alien/demon. if it was some fucked up guy it would have had more of a TCM feel to it. it was cool though, his truck was dominant.

White Noise was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. 2 hours of Michael Keaton in montages comically yelling at blank screens.

The remake of The Hills Have Eyes was ultramega foolish.

What was that movie with Corbin Bernson as a crazy dentist?

It was anything but, it was just boring and they didn't explain anything at all. The plot was stupid too, a guy can talk to his dead wife through the snow of a television screen. If I had known at the time it was going to be as bad as it was I wouldn't have wasted my time. Michael Keaton needs to come back and do a good movie again.

That was one of the worst movies I had ever seen. It had what seemed to be a good build up plot that led to nothing. All they had to do was come up with a half way ending and it would have been fine. No, all it did was turn off the studio lights on everyone and they died. Dumb dumb dumb dumb...

Last House on the Left is one of the greatest movies ever made.
David Hesse should've gotten an Oscar for it. Best bad guy ever.

The scenes inside the house as all the lights were going out were nuts. The end got really surreal, and totally (in my opinion) outshined the rest of the movie.

I hated that they built up those creatures that you would see in the background and then they didn't show them doing anything. Super weak.

Has anybody seen the Descent yet? I'll sum that movie up real nicely for you... bunch of bitches stomping around in a cave getting chased by the Six Flags guy. save your money.

i watched final destination 3 yesterday...well more like i just fast forwarded it to all the death scenes im sure everything in between was dumb but the death scenes where pretty cool

last Horror movie I saw was the original Hills Have Eyes. It was lame.

dont get me wrong, i wasnt expecting some standard run of the mill teens-fuck-and-get-gutted crap, i had been told the premise of it, i think it just failed to deliver. i was actually expecting something more like "I Drink Your Blood".

Last House was amazing. You're like...uncomfortable watching what they do to those girls. It was brilliant.
