Every time I use the peice of shit, its either slow as fuckin molasses, or dosent work at all.
I have a damn fast connection, so how the FUCK can ppl with a connection any slower even use this or bother...

i hear that, lately it's been aweful. after the sexcrement page got deleted i've pretty much lost interest in the site. facebook works like a charm!

its because of the 900 million people with the 900 million different back grounds flash pictures ect...
then you got the people putting pictures in their comments ect.

naw, it's a ton of things.
1) centralized servers not regionalized
2) non-caching content (more AD impressions)
3) large physical codebase for pages

I also could assume more on their back end database architechture, but that would just be guess work.

i guess myspace doesn't have the "live free or die" additude that we all have here on rttp

they lose the ms/sexcrement url

but they can register it for URL forwarding for sexcrement.com for 3$

I never really use it except to host a few songs that are not on myspace. I not sure how many songs you can host, I have 5 up on there.

the real reason is that everytime someone quotes AFI the internet dies a little.

STR had a tagworld account, but I'm just not willing to use another service that will only work until it gets popular.
