New site? Maybe some day.
One is a 120 watt GT1200H full stack. Mint condition. For a low end full stack, the distortion on it is actually pretty ballsy and competes fine with my other guitarist's mesa.
I pad 700 something for it when it came out. I'm asking for 550.
the second is a crate 2x12 120 watt combo. It can be heard over drums (but it's annoying without a noise supressor). It has digital effects that sound pretty good, and the same distortion as the full stack. Make me an offer on it. |
I think Eddie might be looking for something. I'll ask. |
cool man, I NEED to sell these. I just bought a 2000$ full stack and I have NO idea how I'm going to explain it to the fiance. |
a solid state |
regardless, whatd you buy?
it be better be good. christ, i didnt know there were solid state heads in existence that exceeded 800 bucks. |
well, the head was 600, the cabs were 450. plus I bought the extended warranty, speaker cables, and some other small shit.
It's one of the new 2nd generation Crate Shockwaves. |
those heads actually arent that bad. whatd you get for cabs.
i kinda dont understand the owning an army of sweet horizons and putting them all through a crate stack though. |
the cabs are gt412s
yea, lots of people give me crap for playing crates, but pinch harmonics are the most important things to me, and there wasn't a single amp there with better pinches (including the rectos). suprizingly, I don't like most of the pinches tube amps produce. |
i really dont like rectos, i dont see them doing much else than sounding like a fuzzy unclear mess.
i really dont have a problem with the head honestly, its the cabs im a little more sketched about.
fyi: i work at gc, so next time you need anything, let me know. |
which GC? I may even be returning this stack because I bought the floor model wich is a little scraped up, and it didn't come withcasters, a manual, a foot switch, or speaker cable (the guy who sold it tried saying they don't come with footswitches/speaker cables) but the amp comes with all of those things new. he knocked it down in price, but it ended up only being 50 bucks cheaper than it would have been if I bought it off music123.com and with m123, it would have been new in box with all the accessories. |
this is the amp for sale:
boston. yeah, fuck that. bring that shit back and come on down here, i can get better than that and not rape you so bad on the price. and we can work on getting rid of the rest of those emg-hzs you have still hanging around in those ltds. heh. |
the HZs are all gone except for the ones in the mh250 I'm trying to sell lol.
I'm thinking I don't really need the whole gt3500h full stack. If you could get me a decent deal on just the half stack (gt3500h head and gt412 slant cab) than I'll definately return it and hit up the boston store.
the GC in north attleburrough offered the half stack for 950 for the floor model with no casters/footswitch/manual/ect but if you add on tax, it's 1000$ and I can get it for that much new offline.
So if you think you can hook me up with a better deel then that then it looks like I'm going to haveto visit boston very friggin shortly. |
alright cool, I'll be IMing you from Xedora. |
as a Mesa owner, I must say that I had a good run and scraped some good tone out of the thing. But getting the ENGL Powerball was the best thing that could have happened to my tone. I use both amps simultaneously now (the Recto nice and low in the mix) and it's the fullest sound I think I'm capable of getting while being very tight at the same time. I have the gain on my ENGL on 3 right now and the pinch harmonics fly out of that thing like butter. |
That Engl and the VHT pitbull are the only tube amps I'm really into right now, but I don't have the cash for either one. |
my next amp purchase will most likely be an engl fireball.
vht pitbull ultralead = BONER |
How much for one of the cabs?
I would REALLY rather prefer to sell the stack as a hole.
If someone wanted ony one cab, I would sell them only the straight cab and it would be 250$ |
I feel like you can justify selling them separately and getting more profit that way than selling them together. Just a compensation to yourself for having to do two transactions. |
word.
225$ per piece then. 550 for the whole stack. |
I think you missed my point...
haha |
Probably. It's been a looong day. What would you suggest? |
Here's a picture of the other amp I'm selling. All the controlls light up on it.
I love my VHT cab but don't really dig the ultralead. I like the new amps VHT has out though. Foret the name. |
probably the deliverance. |
I'm thinking you could do like $225-250 for each individual piece and then $425-$475 for both pieces (that's 225*2 - 25 and 250*2 - 25 respectively). That way the person would save $25 bucks by buying both and if you sold them both separately you would make $50 more than if you sold them as one transaction. That way you're rewarded if you deal with more people. The prices are kinda arbitrary, I'm just offering the financial theory. |
