We had wicked down pours all day and it has deeply saturated the ground here. Across the street at the Rod and Gun club, a MASSIVE tree on a hill, lost so much soil around the root structure that it actually fell the fuck over. In the process the tree managed to take out some power to the club. Pretty cool to look at. So I'm in my house and watching the cops from my door when I realize that the cable line to my house was slacked out due to the fallen wires and was now hanging about 10 feet from the ground in the middle of the road! So I get the cops over there and they tell me to get the ladder n whatnot, and up I go, pulling wires, dodging the biggest spider i've ever seen not knowing what the fuck I was doing. Truth be told I couldn't pull it off and one of the cops had to jump up there and finish the job. But all in all I got a high five and a hand shake out of it. "That's why you should stick to guitar in your band Josh! You guys have any shows coming up?" Fucking chumming it up guy!
