it states the anti christ will be someone well liked and trust by the masses, who will then turn and use thier influence to basically destroy everythin. and people will never expect it.

It also says that no human will know the date of the end. So any time anyone says that the world will end on this day or that day, they just assured it won't. Its funny when people don't do thier homework.

if we're speaking of the "anti-christ" here you have to refer to the bible, because beliveing there is an anti christ means you already do belive the bible, because thats where it stated.

Religious leaders today lie constantly about their affairs with children, money-mongering, etc. And this is in the information age, where it can be pretty easy to catch them in their follies (and we often do).

So why, logically, would anyone trust ANYTHING a religious figure said thousands of years ago, or put stock in a random collection of parable and allegory that was made official scripture by retards.
