New site? Maybe some day.
You are a video game maniac today.
I am definitely buying the Wii version of this game, so I can swing my arm around with the sword controller like a fucking retard. |
i'll stick with my Legend of Zelda for NES thank you very much |
Oh, dont get me wrong man, the original on NES is possibly my 2nd favorite videogame of all time (behind Metroid NES), but still...Ive seen the footage and the game looks badass. |
oh it definitely looks badass...and i wanna swing a sword around in real time...but the matrix uploaded some code into my brain that doesn't allow me to play other zelda games(i really don't think anyone in the world is better than me at the original zelda) |
I've had this game paid for on researve since the original release date last year. If they push it up o ne more time I may take my own life...
Or wait longer, whatever I feel like at the time. |
What?
No Link to the Past? Major's Mask? Four Swords Adventure? Minish Cap? Wind Waker? All great. And then there was that other one, Ocarina of Time, which everyone in the world except you and I think is the greatest game ever. |
actually i did play ocarina of time when i had an n64...that game was pretty cool
i tried link to the past once but i was like 6 and couldn't figure it out
so i just beat the original one over and over again so i can feel special when it says "you have an amazing wisdom and power" |
Hahaha. Yes, it is one of the best games ever made, eclipsed only by my Metroid addiction. |
i dunno dude...i bet im better at zelda than you are at metroid |
But Zelda is far easier than Metroid. Are you kidding me? Once you found all the items (or opened up your issue of Nintendo Power with the map), the original Zelda game was tit, even for a kid. Second quest, same thing.
I won't even get into how difficult and frustrating some of the more recent Metroid games are, because I don't want to remember. |
Link to the Past is definitely the best Zelda game to date. |
I wish they would have made later Zelda games darker, and more evil. Like 'Morrowind: The Elderscrolls' style...
The ones that came out for N64 were so cartoony and like childish and neat; I didnt enjoy them....I bought Gameboy Advance soley so I could be Oracle of Time and Oracle of Season. Both can't compare to the originals but great games nonetheless. |

I second the assertion. |

i think that Twilight Princess is supposed to be the 'darkest' Zelda game yet, we'll see I guess
im gonna wait until i get a Wii... THEN play twilight princess. the Wii TP features are pretty cool and seem more fun. |
That's exactly what I am doing. |
i mean... being able to aim the bow with the remote, point and shoot style is worth waiting to play. and red steel (i think thats the name) is a first person shooter that is coming out for the Wii that is a point and shoot FPS.... thats even better than using a MOUSE! i cant wait. |
Red Steel will hopefully be cool. |

Metroid is the same way. Its easy once you have all the power-ups you need. They also had a Nintendo Power with a map for metroid as well, all the nintendo games had one at one point.
Ocarina of Time was the best Zelda game to date. Game Stop came out with an altered version of this game for the game cube that was the same story and such, but all the levels were shifted around each time you played. So the game was a little diffrent each time you played. Worst Zelds game was Majora's Mask. It barely fit into the Zelda world.
Everyone forgets about the Adventures of Link (Zelda 2). This game was one of the harder ones (dare I say hardest?). |
Zelda II is both the hardest AND the gayest (except the Phillips CD-I games).
I completely disagree that Ocarina of Time was a better, funner game in 1998 than the original Zelda was in 1986, or that it's a better game at all. I will take my 2D sprites and isolated, lonely adventure any day over the awful N64 polygons and excess retarded fairies and other characters in OoT. Ick! |
werd. if minish cap was longer, it would be the best Zelda game ever. |
Minish Cap was my favorite Zelda since III. Easily. |
seriously... i played it all the time i was at work when i was at the arcade. it is so good that i started again from scratch the other day. i love it. its just too short. thats its only flaw. |
i can see it now..... the wii will be the first system with the hardcore dancing sim. with a built in camera and everything |
SOOOOOOO
I've been playing this game for a little while now, and it occurred to me to share that i laugh my fucking ass off every time i get delivered a letter by the pseudo-retarded looking "mailman"
da dudaduda!!!!! |
I've been thinking of going back and beating this game. It's on the todo list 4 sure, |
fuck, i think i only made it to the desert temple. i haven't turned on my wii in a long time. still need to get the metroid prime trilogy for it.
twilight princess is awesome, but not as good as ocarina of time or the wind waker (or link's awakening for that matter). and jim i'm pretty sure you're referring to the wind waker mailman. trippy game. nintendo never fails. |
no, i'm definitely referring to the twilight princess. I'm in the middle of it right now. The game where you go back and fourth from the twilight to the world of light, and collect the fused shadows. (at least at the beginning.)
I did play the windwaker before this and it was awesome too, but in that one the mailboxes dances when they had letters, and there were bird-mailmen that delivered letters. Totally different duder. |
think i'm gonna get my brother zelda and metroid for xmas. i |
