I refuse to believe this is even the same band.

wow, a band that sucks even more than before.

this is nothing like the EP, sounds like a different band.

sounds more like misery signals or something along those lines

I like it

toggletoggle post by slowlypeelingtheflesh   at May 4,2006 12:34pm
the vocalist kind of sounds like billy from what once was in some parts of the song

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at May 4,2006 2:02pm
it's a lot different...but I definitely think I like it.

toggletoggle post by thedeparted   at May 4,2006 2:07pm
i think id like it more if it were another band. just such a change from the ep, you know

that old disc they had out was too generic, songs were too long with too many parts. It was heavy, sure, but I got tired of it quickly

this is at least a change of pace, though I will admit it's a bit more "standard" for today's music environment

I liked the songs being long. It's almost like progressive noise core or whatever the hell you consider them I think they do have that element of progressive.

I think this track is awesome, I don't think its differed much from the first disc, I just the the guitar sound is less lofty; having a much sharper attack...and then one big thing is the snare drum all being much more focused, the snare on the last album sounded almost completely bare of snare attack, this one having much more crack. Vocally, yes, defintely a big difference.

"The clip These Lights Above Us is from the upcoming FASSW CD Delenda. The guitars were recorded with my modded JCM800 and my modded 5150. The bass was recorded with an Ampeg SVT that I did using my overdrive pedal. All the guitar and bass on the new CD was done with my gear with the exception of the clean tones which were done with a Mesa Heartbreaker I modded. These guys have some amazing stuff on the new CD and it's worth checking out when it comes out in July.
Jerry"

The reason why the guitars sound so much better= FJA Mods

Anyone who was expecting the EP again is a fucking idiot. FASSW, although they've only had one release up until this point, is not a band to release the same thing twice. Christ they made that EP like 4 years ago. This track is awesome, and i say that with the upmost criticism. My dick is ROCK hard in anticipation of this new cd. The vocals are a great change, Will has an awesome range.
Dont like it? Dont listen.

yeah seriously. the demo came out in early 2004. and wills vocals sound sweet on this. i think the song is very much FASSW, but the guitars sit farther back in the mix, giving it a totally different feel. i think it kicks ass.

fja mods = teh sex0rz

So I just listened to the new song and I feel it still has that FASSW feel. Only thing is that quality is much better on this recording than the EP. Other than that I don't see a significant change. I like it.
