ok ok some of dane cooks stuff is pretty good but i dont see him as this great comic genius everyone is making him out to be. if you can think of anyone know a days who is actually being a real comic and making people really laugh and not just rehashing ten min sitcom pitches and writing joke songs. then by all means let me know if i missed someone. cause watching comedy central or seeing a lot of the crap that comes into best buy that is called comedy is fucking trash, if it was music itd be winger or nelson compared to like slayer or johnny cash. wtf

and now id like to take this chance to give props to both scott and robb from teratism for trying to do their parts to bring real comedy back !

Dane Cook is a rip off artist. He steals some bits verbatim from Louis CK (a pretty good comic). Listen to "Live at Houston" from Louis CK and Dane Cook's new one. Some of the jokes are pretty much exactly the same and Louis has been doing those jokes for years.

Zach Galifianakis is really funny. Kind of reminds me of a Mitch Hedberg in his randomness. He does a really good job reacting to, and then focusing in on, the audience. Sean, I have a whole hour of his standup (no tracks, sorry) bootlegged from him. It's pretty funny.

Jim Gaffigan is good for some laughs. I can think of some more...it's not totally desolate...just mostly.

I can send you some stuff from louis ck and jim gaffigan too if you're interested.

yeah ive seen a lil from Louis, hes pretty decent and it seems every couple of years comcis will steal bits i mean look at Dennis Leary.

ive only seen like one think on comedy central from Zach, it was cool id watch/listen to some more.

Jim is def not my cup of tea.

Lewis Black is amazing as well. I saw him at Hampton Beach in 04, when it was a horrible storm outside and lightning struck the electrical wires outside, and the current carried through the microphone and shocked Lewis....he fucking FLIPPED OUT
