the other trailer from the other thread looked worse, if i remember correct. ill probably still see it on dvd, or the $1 cinema. just isnt the same.

i heard something about them releasing it to the theatres in colour and b&w, so people get a choice if they want to watch it the "classic" way or not. either way....im gonna see it...and it comes out august 18th...which is my 20th bday...so im hoping it's a good birthday present for me

that's kinf of cool, and a good marketing scheme. get people to watch it twice. i bet the dvd will have both on it.

the only thing i liked that Kevin Smith did was Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and even that was pushing it. i hate Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, that whole bit. he is definitely an awesome director, i just dont care for any of it.

yeah, i don't care what anyone says. I like all of them, the entire jersey chronicles, Clerks-Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I've been a fan of Clerks since it came out and I've been following Kevin's films and career pretty much since then. I am weary about this one because i don't know if it's just going to be a terrible sequel that really didn't need to be made and its just going to ruin the greatness that is Clerks. I saw the trailer which didn't really impress me that much, but other than that I don't know much about the story line or the jokes, I just want to go in cold not knowing anything and if its good then great and if not then that's o.k. too. Kevin Smith says he thinks its his best film he's made so far, but that's to see come August 18th.

Also if you ever get a chance to go see Kevin Smith live it is really an awesome time, extremely funny and you definitely get your moneys worth, I think it was about 10 or 15 bucks last time I saw him and he spoke for about 4-5 hours. It was an a really good time.
