i like the strokes. the newest DEP had its downsides but it was still a cool record. |

Actually it looks pretty clean..though he doesn't have to wash it...you know who his dad is right?
I got pics of the set list....I knew it was going to be a quick 3 songs...just watching the show now...too bad it's dark..hope I got some ok pics...I had to take pics of the merch..and got a shirt...I'll be sure and wear it to a metal show..haha |

1973 music was way cooler than The Strokes (Sabbath anyone?). I don't know what time period this band is supposed to be from, but it's no era I've ever heard of.
When I hear The Strokes, I just keep trying to figure out what their appeal is, but I can't; not musically, anyway, I mean it's just awful, and sounds like it's the kind of thing that must be a joke. I mean, are they supposed to be cool because the entire band is a couple? I guess there's something admirable about the musical self-sufficiency of a couple who can be the full manifestation of a band, kind of like Local H with nookie... but, then again, Local H had more talent. Which I suppose says it all. |
