My car needs brakes.Any of u know of any good auto shops that do brakes for a reasonable price?

do it yourself, you'll save hundreds of dollars.

go to autozone and buy the repair manual for your car, and the parts, and all the tools you'll need to do it. You'll probably end up spending less than it woudl cost to have a shop do it.

I have a mechanic in my area whos good(but expensive).I need a place that takes credit cards because I dont have the cash for this.

most mechanics will charge you $75 - $125 per axle for labor and parts. $300 - $500. I did my own brakes last month. I think it cost $140 for new pads and discs all the way around.

the only thing tricky about brakes is
1) rusty calipers
2) bleeding abs
