For the last time, I'm not republican. And the show was changed to 21+

toggletoggle post by PatMeebles at Mar 18,2006 11:59am
And we're not political, to boot.

The age change involved Ben Sisto, I think.

toggletoggle post by PatMeebles at Mar 18,2006 12:11pm
And since whiskey decided to keep insulting me, I'll point out why I'm not republican

I'm pro gay marriage

I hate Corporate Welfare

I think that South Dakota ban on abortion is the worst bill ever

Building a wall on the mexican border is a really dumb idea

I think attempts by the government to get google records on porn searches is a really dumb idea, even though google's a hypocrite in the matter

They decided to be arab bashers by kicking out Dubai even though they tried to pander and say they were pro-arab, and that terrorists were only a small minority.

They do nothing to decrease our defecit or debt.

That's all I can think of.

I heard it had something to do with bush threatening to let out your secret identity

toggletoggle post by PatMeebles at Mar 18,2006 12:13pm
Oh yeah, and opposition to std preventing vaccinations really pisses me off about republicans. They rather people get hpv and cervical cancer, just so that "kids will be discouraged from having sex." Give me a fucking break.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 18,2006 12:14pm
you forgot the average republican has the "old man" smell.. ew...

toggletoggle post by wade nli at Mar 18,2006 2:18pm

if you came to practice you would have known.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 18,2006 4:24pm
dude, singers and practice don't mix, at all.

lesser evils: they had a good feel to their music. It was completely punk rock with an emphasis on the rock. Easy to understand and fun songs, some funny catch phrases. Think Social d but with a little drunk punk.

nowhere USA lost their guitar player. And by that, I mean they are unable to locate him. He is lost and presumed wasted still from last night.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 18,2006 4:26pm
lesser evils also played a cover of depression (the damned), but they messed up the lyrics a bit.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 18,2006 5:01pm
26 beers: they came out with their hit song "bush oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah" and ended with "bill frist is innocent" is what it would have like to say about their set, but that didn't happen. I don't see how they are repunklican since they have a black drummer. Remember, george bush doesn't care about black people. W3's conspiracy theory (unlike when lisa simpson found out the boy band that bart was in was a navy recruiting tool) is dead at this point. The first song off was more akin in guitar/bass and vocal attack to suicidal tendance. The rest of they set kicked ass too. A lot of the songs had punk-break-downs that can really get people moving. Some of the punks danced around, but that lead to a massive beer spill right around the point in the song where the singer says something about one more beer.

bloodstains: the crowd was a lot more rowdy and the level was raise up to defon 4. Man, what a terrible joke. The bloodstains sounded awesome. Some guitar noodling and a touch of casualties type punk to their more hardcore side of pun sound. I was a little miffed cause I got beer sprayed all over a camera.
*sniff*
it's all sticky now. I need to clean it. I should probably wash my hands. I won't, but I probably should.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 18,2006 8:10pm
mouth sewn shut: I was expecting something more toxic narcotic. They were a hardcore band. A lot of the music was prett straight forward, but with a familar sound from kylesa. though towards the end, they had a couple parts that sounded almost like the raggea-ish stuff that underdog did.

Our drummer's a Mexican border jumper from Texas.

He says "I'm not black"

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 18,2006 8:34pm
he's not black, he's just big boned.
I believe that bush loves mexicans. there, you guys are now a republican band.
