that Sidekick is a joke man. It's such a worthless reconfiguration of the paper. Seems like they just did it so the parents wouldn't have to part with a section of the paper while the kids read comics. However, they are dumping advertising into that thin like people are gonna be stoked that now the comics are in a little mini-paper with the main paper! And even worse, most of the articles are just reprints of the A&E / Living Arts section anyway (I've found several duplicate subjects and tremendously similar articles on the SAME day in the two different sections)
the herald does suck but it's got the readership due to sensationalism
The Glober has been ripping a lot of shitty articles from the Web and it seems cutting back on staff reporting. I read in the Dig or something that they clipped a lot of reporters
