I am selling a Tama Iron Cobra Dbl kick pedal for $200. Comes w/ plastic molder case and drum key. Very good condition, only used it for around 4 months, (then bought a DW9002- which I like much better)It has been sitting around for over a year.

I looked at one of mine and i think it can. the slave pedal has a plastic cap you pop off and there is a post to attach the cross bar to. tricky part is on the other pedal there are some allen screws to remove, one on the cam and one on a spacer. there is a screw on the opposite end from the spacer. I imagine this screw can be removed so the bar can be taken out and reversed leaving the post on the left side of the pedal to attach to the cross bar. since i have no use for a left handed or broken pedal i did not actually take out the bar and reverse is just in case.

i have 2 of these and they are fucking tanks. they definately do not have the finesse and smooth feel of the DW 5000 or 9000. but they do have more power and seem to last longer.

Im not usre if it can be converted to lefty, Illl have to check the TAma website for info.

I am asking $200 for the pedal.

How old is it? Tama will tell you it can't be converted. If someone were to convert it, it would void the warranty. They fuckin suck!! And it's fuckin impossible to order a lefty. It takes years!!

toggletoggle post by BlackoutRick at Feb 16,2006 7:37am
