gotta keep us afraid.

well not only that but a few of top aids were supposedly killed in an air raid but they have no way of being sure about it or not.

the best thing was from Scott McClellan...."We do not negotiate with terrorists, we put them out of business."

so the world trade tower bombs happend in what 1993 and then they hit the building with a plane in 2001. clearly putting terrorists out of business, but i guess they did send a mean message to the french about their fries or something of that nature.

i cant wait for romney to be president so the lying, cheating, stealing and then selling of america will be complete. remember people died for this country, ha...yeah cause you sent them to die asshole

this is awesome, too bad he's what a year and a month too late....

John Kerry responds to Chris Matthews

"You'd think the only focus tonight would be on destroying Osama Bin Laden, not comparing him to an American who opposes the war whether you like him or not. You want a real debate that America needs? Here goes: If the administration had done the job right in Tora Bora we might not be having discussions on Hardball about a new Bin Laden tape. How dare Scott McClellan tell America that this Administration puts terrorists out of business when had they put Osama Bin Laden out of business in Afghanistan when our troops wanted to, we wouldn't have to hear this barbarian's voice on tape. That's what we should be talking about in America." -- John Kerry

Chris Matthews compares Michael Moore to Osama

well how come kerry does not bash the clinton admin for choosing not to kill him years ago when had the chance but said "nah" he's no real threat"

toggletoggle post by whiskey_weed_and_women  at Jan 20,2006 12:47pm
cause the clinton admin, wouldnt be dumb enough to say ...."We do not negotiate with terrorists, we put them out of business."

they did a lot of horrible shit in their own right, but never rubbed it in peoples faces this admin. is so dumb. they simply put the burden of the american public being that stupid to not realize hey we went to war and this dood still isnt dead or caught. i mean they did find saddam in a fucking hole in the middle of the iraq dessert.

We'll never find that guy. And if we did, would it even matter? He could be dead for all we know and the tape could be either old or fake. It doesn't matter anymore if he is dead or alive, he is immortalized in the eyes of the Islamo-facists. He did the unthinkable, which is, successfully stage a devastating attack on the country whom they refer to as 'The Great Satan'. What we need to do, that I feel is more important that catching/killing Bin Laden, is win the propaganada war. After all, isn't this what the tape is all about. I find it interesting enough to note that in the midst of the emerging story that Bin Laden is dead, Al Jazeera all of a sudden released a new Bin Laden tape. Coinicidence? or not?

Clinton didn't want to get Bin Laden because he felt as if America had no right or the proper authority to get him. This was based solely on the fact that, at the time, he had not committed any such act that would give us the green light to invade a country and apprehend this particular indavidual. In other words, Clinton felt as if he needed a 'search warrent' (for lack of a better term). Insted, we waited untill he killed 3,000 of our citizens. At least we now have the right to attain a search warrent.

um that's a false staement they had just attacked a US navel ship in yamen and destroyed 2 US instalations in Africa and still didn't pull the trigger when they had him dead in their sites

I appreciate that the US is informing us at least. even if it is in this tiny way, at least if the US gets slammed tomorrow we can say we expected it. The tape of Bin Laden released information that preparations for attacks are being made but the attacks will only be made if we are unable to come to an aggreement with al Qaida. I'm curious as to why the information from the tape was released. They say it was recorded in December. Are we planning on a truce? are we planning on refusing the demands and therefore headed towards a more brutal war? a white house press secretary said something like we wont negotiate with terrorists but we'll put them out of business. That sounds to me like we are planing on denying a truce. but, seeing as though Bin Laden did not say what the conditions for a truce were, I'm guessing they are undecieded. so maybe we are closer to an end. then again, maybe we're no where close at all.

Here's the full text of Bin Laden's statement...taken objectively I agree with it, I've also noted that the statement is more intelligent than anything Bush has ever said, and calls for peace.

"I did not bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America." -Straight from the horses mouth - your pal, Bill Clinton (1996)

I might as well add that the African Embassy bombings were in 1998 and the USS Cole bombing off the coast of Yemen was in 2001. My math says that he made the comments years before these events.

toggletoggle post by DomesticTerror at Jan 21,2006 10:27pm
Hung, i don't think Ray was arguing what Clinton said. He was just pointing out that acts HAD been committed, the Embassy bombings and the Cole bombing. You said that none had. (also, not to split hairs, but the Cole bombing was in late 2000)

At the time when he said it Bin Laden hadn't done shit to us except talk a bunch of smack. Clinton's remarks reinforces my point that he didn't want to get the guy because we had no basis in which to hold him. The tape of Clinton saying that is some hush hush shit. It was recorded on a pocket recorder at a breakfast Q&A. I've heard another tape of Clinton denying that he ever made such a statement. I myself was even surprized as to how long ago it was made. For a moment there....I almost thought he was right and that the bombing did occur before Clinton thought about picking him up.

ok. i fucked up my math. sorry.

Clinton's answer was in responce to 'why we didn't get him when we had him'. The Saudi's offered the guy to us and we refused. Had it been that he was offered to us AFTER such attacks that were organized by Bin Laden, I would hope that we would have taken it. Since then, we have not in any way had that asshole in our crosshairs, therefor there was no chance to get the guy in this era where we have a legitimate grudge against him other than him talking some shit that he wanted us dead.

None of that Clinton talk is half as bad as flying Bin Laden's family out of the country on 9/11.

toggletoggle post by Hung‘TaBleed at Jan 23,2006 11:55am
The Bin Laden family is fucking huge, and they earned quite a prestigious name for themselves long before there was an Osama Bin the Terrorist. The guy was upwards of about 70 sum odd brothers and sisters. Not to mention he has hundreds of cousins from his dozens of uncles. I understand completely that it was a shady situation by all means, but it is not like these 'people from his family' that left after 9/11 has ever even met the guy, and that is a fact. We would have done the same for any Saudi Royal family that was here and wanted out despite the fact that there was a national grounding of all planes. It was a great conspiracy theory by that fat fuck Michael Moore, but it holds no credibility is relation to the assumption that the Bush admin. was in bed with Osama and had his back here. Osama is an outcast to his family. They disowned him decades ago. The guy was literally given a large multi-million dollar sum and told that he was no longer part of the Bin Laden family. Look it up. Anything you can find on the internet regarding this issue at the very least is as credible as farenheight 911.

toggletoggle post by BSV@school at Jan 23,2006 12:38pm
it's not like moore just fabricated that theory, most of his info, if not all was comming from alot of agents fbi, cia, etc. if we were so friendly with his family, allowing them to be the only people to fly out of the america that day, then why aren't they returning the favor and helping us with information on his whereabouts? i thought they didn't like him, him being an outcast should only motivate them more to give information. even if they never met the guy, they know people close to them that have. why were we so incompotent to realize that? why did bush leave afghan warlords in charge of finding bin laden? why has there been 5 different bin laden's featured individually for various speeches/messages on video?

Excellent fucking question. With special forces teams under his command that are hailed worldwide as 'the best of the best', why did he leave it up to the tribal warlords?

toggletoggle post by BSV@school at Jan 23,2006 1:01pm
john kerry asked bush that during the debates, no answer! i can't remeber if he pulled a mccellan with the whole "impending investigation dah dah dah dah"...

toggletoggle post by Hung‘TaBleed at Jan 23,2006 1:10pm
I'm sure we didn't let them go 'no questions asked', if we did, then we are retarded. I have to agree that asking the pricks family would at least be a good place to start. While we're at it, we should ask ol' Billy Bulger (who receives a $1 Million + retirement pension from us MA tax payers)

WHERE'S WHITEY???

toggletoggle post by BSV@school at Jan 23,2006 1:26pm
whitey will never be caught, simply because there are so many federal agents tied up with him, bringing him down will be a disaster for the agency. same principle!
