Mike Shinoda is an OK rapper but at least he is trying something different. He tries to rap about things outside of 40s, blunts, and bitches with beats that are not your standard verse/chorus/verse/chorus. The guest appearances (Black Thought from the Roots, Common, Styles of Beyond) are the best part. Some songs sound a little too Linkin Park-ish but that is to be expected. Probably like a 6/10 but worth a listen if you don't pay a lot for it.
