Mucopus' debut full length "Mulch?!?" is out now on Amputated Vein Records ( http://www.amputatedvein.com )... the official (and tentatively) free admission cd release show is slated for this coming February in NY. More details to come.
In other news, guitarist and co-founder Ernie Rau has decided to amicably part ways with the band. Rau on the split: "It's been fun but it's time to move on to new things..." Rau and Organ Harvest drummer Rob Nudo ( http://www.organharvest.net ) have started work on a new project entitled Tentacles. Mucopus plans to continue on as a four-piece, although the addition of a second guiatrist has not been ruled out.
The rest of the band has kept busy over the past months with separate projects. Guitarist Justin Knipper recently joined Wasteform ( www.wasteform.com ) and completed a European tour with the band this past October, while Corey Hall joined Organ Harvest and has been performing with the band in various parts in the Northeast. Vocalist Jason Keyser has been hard at work completing the recording sessions for Skinless' 4th full length entitled "Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead" for Relapse Records.

Whoa! Ernie's gone?
I can't wait to pick up this CD. I got to hear some of it when Darren was working on the mix with Dave, but it'll be that much better when I can crank it in my car on the way to work. It's cool to know what the guys have been up to, I for one didn't realize you were all so busy! |

Hopefully we get to come back out to New England very soon... I'll be there in Janauary in Seekonk, MA as Wasteform will be headlining a fest there with a bunch of bands. Check it out if you're in the area. |

Yeah I don't know what was going on with that, Kyle is definitely playing drums for us and we just started practicing again and it sounds great. Here's some info on that show in Seekonk...
