I cant knock people for setting up shows and having no one show up because its more then ive ever done for the scene. but its not even that, when i go to shows now everyone looks like they dont want to be there,or like they want to kill themselves.

The metal scene is a lot better now than it was about 5 years ago, everything was controlled by metalcore fags. At least now you can get a show even if your not on hydrahead or sucking the kenmore agencys cocks

I actually have only played 4 shows with my band and every one of them has been incredible. I think shows we kinda crappy for a few years but lately I've had a pretty good time.

i usually have fun when i'm at my band's shows and other local shows. it's the big shows that i don't really like going to anymore.

I like big shows but that's only thanks to my incredible ability to pretend that there is no one else around.

i have trouble blocking out all the goons i see at big shows now. usually the main reason i don't like going anymore is because there's always 4 or 5 shitty bands and 1 good band. i remember the ratio being a bit better in the past.

plus the only big bands i like that come around here are bands i've seen a billion times. the rest never tour the US.

i don't know what yer talking about, being at shows makes me happy as hell.

p.s. as far as all ages goes...it didn't get any better than the espresso bar in worcester

kids went to that place every weekend regardless of who was playing just to have a good time

now everyone would rather get drunk or snort heroin in their mom's basement...or complain about how no one understand's why they dye their hair black and wear it in front of their make-up caked eyes

The Metal scene around here aint depressing,it just sucks balls.If u go to a show and have a good time then it shouldnt make u depressed.
