damn this place is pretty cool. its got that old school texas steakhouse feel. right now, there is a guy climbing through planks above the crowd adjusting lights. the guy's got to be in his 60s.

ugh.. tell me about it...
I drank 3 monster drinks on the way down. they didn't do jack (other than making my sweat cancerous). I have a feeling I'm going to be either stopping to run around my car or napping while heading home.

brothers in arms: this is blake's (untold truth) band. I saw them a long ass time ago. They've toughened and tightened up a bit. I remember the last time I saw them, there were 2-step parts to their songs. Now there isn't. The drummer is chris (drummer for every band, but you might only like failsafe device so he was in that band ).

if hope dies: it didn't seem like most people knew who they were. They still played good, but the crowd was a hardcore crowd and only moved when the singer announced the breakdowns.

one 4 one: no bad. I've never heard of this band before. I guess they've been around NJ for over 12 years. They sounded like bane. Positive hardcore. At some point, they cover cornerstone. The singer continually grabbed his pocket. Reminded me of seth putnam with his shirt. since they were welknown by the crowd, the mic was in the audience for most of their set.

so guy from some radio station came out and gave the crowd free shit. No clue who he is. I think all the free stuff was from jager.

they are wicked ahead of schedule so they are waiting 15 minutes. wish I could nap.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 25,2005 10:45pm
hatebreed's stuff has been on stage and set up for 30 minutes. still waiting for them to start.

I'm guessing they go on in 15 more.

when they started throwing shirt/cds/etc, I just ducked.

all out war: this was definitely a different aow than I've seen before. Their sets were always sloppy, but this time is seemed a lot sloppier than before. From what I could remember, they played mostly old songs. The singer was tossing water all over the place and slipped on it, falling flat on the ground. At one point, some one interrupted the singer (while he was giving the middle finger) by stage diving (sort of on me) and aow. I guess it was jamey jasta who did it.they played an extended last song which was actually the best one they did.during much of their set, I had people raining down on me from off the crowd. Thankfully, most of the people were completely light and I could catch them with one arm.

100 Demons: with no neglect and no scarhead, 100d playing was the best thing to happen. these guys are one of my favorite live bands. they played an awesome set. I must say, I was expecting a little more in a show so close to home from the crowd. when they play roman's, the crowd ismuch more hopping that they were last night. then again, I guess it was the crowd. I tried to get up on the stage to shoot pictures of reesh, but the stage manager from hatebreed wouldn't let me. too many people up there. also, it probably had something to do with my huge backpack.

i'd like to tell you what i thought of this show, but I couldn't hear anything over the sound of thundering douche in the form of a bunch of meatheads, who probably have no idea who all out war even is, bouncing around, and hanging on top of me.

Mike Score is still king of the universe.

hatebreed: this is one of the best sounding hatebreed shows I've ever seen. in the half dozen or so times I've caught them, I've definitely noticed a change in them and a change in the crowd. the members of the crowd are getting younger and younger while the pants of those in attendance are getting baggier and baggier and their shirts are getting spookier. their shows have leaned more and more to this just being a job for the band. this show was completely different. maybe it was the intraspective nature of a show that is about you last 10 years. or the material that they were covering. but I swear, they even looked younger on that stage. they started off with Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire cover to cover and then Under The Knife cover to cover. they also had an old guitar player named wade come out and play with them. I sort of moved my way towards the door at that part, but all the earlier stuff is what hatebreed is defined as in my book. that ruled and was definitely worth all the driving.

I saw them last night. They did a Sepultura cover, Chaos A.D. and Did a new song. Didn't play much old stuff, They did a couple of min. of Reign in Blood, Then switched in to one of their songs. Converge stole the show. Best band of the night. Crowbar was cool.

Hatebreed covered Refuse/Resist.. Crowbar was great, and they're playing at Cabost St. tonight with Full Blown Chaos, etc..

That's the worst! You start nodding off, the lines in the road start moving cause your eyes crossing & rolling up in your head. I've had to do laps around the car to stay awake. It sucks!
