it was definitely cool. the destruction scenes alone are worth renting for. Tom Cruise is a fucking knob so that is the downfall, but overall i give it a B

I loved it. It did have really REALLY gay shit in it (Tom Cruise, and the ending) but they did such a good job with the Martians. They basically kill relentlessly and effectively.

it was going ok, then it seems like near the end they were like, oh shit we're running out of time.... ok done.

i think the writers caught down syndrome halfway through, must have been used to working on M. Night Shamylan movies.
