Holy Shit... was that not the worst, most in acurate portayal of a punk that i have even seen in my entire life. That movie was one giant pile of horse shit, and im almost embarassed to admit i sat through it. This made Sid and Nancy look good, thats all i have too say about that.

but for anyone that has seen it, didnt that sean kid remind you of Kenny Lanning, near the end when hes beggin for change, that all i could think of.

Keith mentioned Suburbia above, that is the closest any movie has come to portraying the "punk" lifestyle. I used to watch that movie all the time when I was a teenager. Great flick!

Suburbia was an awesome movie. That is, if you're talking about the suburbia with Flea, where the baby gets eaten by dogs in the beginning. I've never seen the other flick by the same name.

As for SLC punk, accurate or not I thought it was a pretty good movie, and made a pretty valid point at the end. I'm not sure what they were shooting for when they killed off Heroin Bob, I hope the just wanted to show irony, and weren't trying to preach some anti drug shit.

I actually really enjoyed SLC Punk, granted yes it was no Suburbia but I thought the film, for what it was worth, was a fun movie. Hell I even bought it 2 for 20 at some place with suburbia.

i havent seen suburbia, but i was SLC Punk was funny. The ending kind of comes out of nowhere, i mean it starts out as a relatively funny movie, but the end is the complete opposite.
