Oh man, Thats really messy. I wonder what the driver looks like. I saw a deer run out on 495 last year, it got hit by a small Buick and it took all 4 of its legs off. The rest of it shot off the windshield and almost hit the truck I was driving. I'll never forget the sight of it's legs ripping from its torso and flying across the rd.

that driver had to have been going 85-90. i think about that when i'm cruising on back roads running late for work in the AM. that and kids waiting for the bus...

I have weird nightmare scenarios about that shit when I'm on my motorcycle doing 120 on twisty back roads in the middle of the night. shit just sort of flashes into my head. it's like in some other dimension, I saw myself die right there because something ran out in front of me.

i have surreal shit like that go on, driving home super-early in the AM.

it probably doesn't help that a couple years ago, I shot Shadows Fall at the Fat Cat in Springfield. I fell asleep on the highway, cruise control at 75 MPH. if it wasn't for the crusty show covering the guardrails, I would've gone right into one instead of kinda ramping into the show, spinning around, etc. I still totaled the car, ripped the undercarriage beyond repair. waking up into that was fuckin insane, i remember it vividly, too, so that helps me stay awake now in similar situations.

haha, this is indeed a repost, but it's worthy. if that happened to me, i would probably kill myself. do you think their insurance covers that??

one of my high school teachers was on vacation in maine with her parents for a week, and on the way home she was going through mountains and all that fun stuff. she ended up hitting a fucking moose going like 70, took the moose's legs off, and the body smashed into her windshield, rolled off the car and slammed on the ground. she said the thing was still fucking alive when it hit the ground, moaning in a very insane manner. her parents called her the next day saying "oh my god did you hear about the moose accident the other night??" hahaha, imagine having to live with that...no good!
