got to meet Ryan from skate the plate over and over.
Plus, went down with rob and tom (ex-halo suffocation machine). And of course, I hung out with jeremy from chaosmetal.com and the lovely jessica who was very.. um.. 'into' Peter from Hypocrisy.

If you missed the show, Hypocrisy was amazing. I had no idea what they were going to be like live and they blew me away. It was amazing. Soilwork also blew me away, of course, seeing as they have one of the best CDs of the year. Though does anyone else feel like they might be on mtv soon? Killswitch Engage was great too, they rocked the house, with the lead singer (jesse) spending a lot of his time in the audience. Scarculture was good, but they are much better on a smaller stage so the crowd can get involved.
What did you think of the show?

... was a good show after the first 3 bands (stray bullet theory, scar culture, killswitch engage)

stray bullet theory was a pretty rediculously gay band with a singer who was dressed like kid rock. One of the guitar players pulled of an OK solo on top of shitty nu-metal rythms so it didn't really work at all.

scar culture is pretty boring and their drummer messed up a bunch of times.

killswitch engage - nothing special.

Soilwork sounded kinda shitty just like metalfest, guitars too low, overall muddy sound.

Hypocrisy was absolutley amazing...I had a 3======D through their entire set. They played one of my favorite songs which I didn't think they would play "Until The End" also played "apocolpyse" "fourth demension" and opened up with "fractured mellenium".

and arron soilwork may have one of the best albums of the year, but with new meshuggah, new nile, new darkane, and new opeth coming it bill be sure not to be the best album .. heheh

and thanks again for the ride man!

All of the first three bands sound 100 times better on cd... as for soilwork - godly of corse... how can you go wrong with them? how?... you CANT
and hypo is god.
not to mention the guitarist of STEEL PROPHET hanging out after the show (he was the guitar tech) - very cool

uhh, ive heard killswitch engage on cd, and scar culture on cd...both are nothing special AT ALL....

STRAY BULLET THEORY was just the gayest thing to even happen last night. I don't need to hear their CD, I can tell how much gayness will sound from my speakers. Too bad we didn't show up to miss them.

damnit arron, get rid of these icons! they totally take away from the feeling of gayness
