After five years of silence, California based extreme metal stalwarts Noctuary have emerged with plans to enter the studio.
Currently slated to record in mid/late November, Noctuary is planning for an official release sometime in January 2006, with an advance release for their e-mail list subscribers in December.
The album, as-yet-untitled, is intended to bridge the gap between 2000's critically acclaimed When Fires Breed Blood and the forthcoming The Grand Design. According to Noctuary lead vocalist Joe Van Fossen, "After going so long without an official release we finally wanted to show our fans where we were at and what we've been doing all this time."
The album will feature three band new songs, three updated versions of songs from previous albums, and three instrumental pieces. "I think the new songs on this will illustrate how we went from point A (When Fires...) to point B (The Grand Design),"continued Van Fossen.
Track listing and title are still to be announced. |

weird... this should be marked news. |

saw them at this years NE Hardcore and Metal fest, they put on a good live show. I have one or two of their albums kicking around somewhere, so I'll defenitly consider purchasing this when it's released. |
