damn, i don't think i'm going to be around that day. i've been bored as hell since i moved back to dartmouth. i'll see if i can make it. i haven't done anything social around here at all.

i'm pretty sure i'm going. i live in dartmouth now and need to make some new friends and see some local metal. if anyone goes, say hi to me and/or buy me a beer. i'll be the slender fella with the brown hoodie and mercyful fate t-shirt. i'll probably have an atlanta falcons hat on and be looking around nervously because i don't know anyone.

in other words, i'm the dude who looks like a child molester, but i'm really a rapist of the elderly.

I'm going to try. I have band pracice at 8:30, depending on when that ends, I'll be there.

fucking good show tonight. i got lost on the way because the listing i looked at had the address of some random house with 2 cars in the driveway. luckily i made it to the show without missing any of the bands.

smite the righteous - these guys and girl kicked ass. i liked what i had heard on fagspace, but they were even better live. good, tight new bedford metal.

bane of existence - with all due respect to dug o'existance, i don't think these guys have ever sounded better. the new lineup was awesome. i talked to castledoomerown before i left for the show and he told me to give his regards to the b.o.e. guys and all the hot metal girls he wants to see in playboy.

kreagen - i remember seeing these guys at the poo cave a couple years back and they reminded me of old priest and megadeth. this time there were alot of rock n roll elements mixed in and songs that reminded me of sentenced, one of my favorite bands ever. they had all kinds of energy and stage presence. i really enjoyed their set and they were cool guys to boot.

the accursed - these guys are always a good time. i hadn't seen them in a couple years, but they were just as good as the last time i saw them. once again, they played wasted years, my all time favorite maiden song. metal george nailed all of the great steve harris basslines.good guys, good band. their set was a rocking time.

i had a really fun time. thanks to all the bands and people who made it a good night for metal in shitass dartmouth. carry on, my wayward sons.

Why does ever other review of a boe show start like this? I really don't give a fuck. One of my top reasons for quitting was that I sucked. And yeah the new line up is sick for the most part.
