Read the story. "attacker" is not defined very well. Seems like you could shoot your neighbor for calling you an asshole as long as you claim you felt "threatened"

It seems dumb to me that a law was in place forcing you to run away from someone threatening your life. Hopefully your fear of the word "attacker" being defined too loosely in the new law isn't true.
Anyway, I grew up around miami, and i say its great to visit and vacation, but not to live. the humidity is freakin INTENSE. Forget swamp ass, it's swamp body! |

There was never a law forcing you to run. Self-defense was never illegal.
