i remember being like 16 and hearing nicolas cage was gonna be ghost rider since it's his favorite comic character, and oddly enough is also mine. so i've been waiting for this to come out for 6 fucking years...i'll see it no matter how bad it looks. i'm not even gonna watch the trailer...mainly because i have dial up though, haha

I don't think Garth Ennis wrote this, if he did it might actually be watchable

at this point Nicholas Cage's mere presence pretty much drags down anything remotely cool, but Ghost Rider, despite his cool look and "should-be-cool-can't go wrong" origin/ general vibe has always been a lame and disapointing character... you'd think a flaming skull guy on a motorcyle couldn't possibly be lame, but almost all of his comic appearances have been

maybe the new ennis series will be decent
