sounds like Helmet, Unsane, 311, sick of it all, some indie rock band, and some nu metal band rolled in one large spliff. fairly entertaining.

i may, just for you. but that in no way shape or form means i enjoy listening to seemless or silent drive AT ALL.

i hear it is very new and a very nice venue, holds as many as the upstairs paladium, we will see!

i will...it was a 3 minute walk from my apartment until we got booted out due to the gayening of our old guitarist

i'll still be there though...now it's just a 10 minute drive

DC- unfortunatly we are opening, the doors are at 5 so sometime right around 6 mabye earlier, suckiness. Carina, i would say promos at 3:30? (or is that to early) or 4 right after we load in? I'll text your cell.

Ok third band on now..fun show so far...but it's mega hot in here...in btwn bands we go down to the bar...this is a cool place...upstairs the stage with cool decor...see rev's randomshots...but no ac and it's old...so when it rained there were leaks all over the place and we even saw sparks...I'm a tad worried about that...then downstairs is the ac where the bar is...and that leads to the diner...there's a raising kubrick sticker in the bathroom

affinity for nothing: this is dave's aka inailedyourgirlfriend backward (ex-5 minutes hate singer) new project. they were rocky with some clean singing and some screaming like he did in 5MH. I definitly liked their last song the best. It was over all the hardest of their songs.


goat island: how could I have been in PVD all the time I have and not caught this band? They were simply awesome. I could totally see them playing the as220. A lot of their set was long, feed back filled post hardcore, reminicent of converge "you fail me", but then the singer would come in screaming and the music would speed up sounding like cursed. They had 10 or 12 100 watt lightbulbs plus a ton of $$$ gear which tripped a fuse during their second song. While the bartender was flipping them back on, sparks rained down from a tube over my bag. I guess the bassist was a fill in too. Rich, the guitar play split his head open on his guitar. With all the redlights, I couldn't tell if he was just sweating or not, but I guess it was a lot of blood... I'm sort of pissed that I didn't get any shots of it.

cavour: featuring spamical on vocals with some young kids. Though the 4+ years that I've been going to shows with jon, this is the first time that I've seen him in a band. It was funny too cause he was pulling bitchin dance moves on stage. It was hilarius to see him blowing kisses to people in the front. The vocals where everything from deathmetal to cattle decap to clean singing. The music behind was mostly techy-hardcore. You could tell the bands members were young cause their family was in the front. people tried to dance for them... but got shut down..

seemless: damn was it freaking hot by this point. When will club owners freaking learn! They played the song that I like 2nd to last. It was getting a little hard moving around since the crowd really filled in during their set. It was odd to see them on such a small stage. Normally, they are on huge stages where they get to run around a bit more.

the show was fun, at first i thought the blood on the dude form goat islands face was tear, but once the lights were on i was taken by suprise, how did he do it? thanks rev and carina. No silent drive review??

I didn't get to write it. those others I wrote between the bands on my phone.

silent drive: they were fun to see live. zack is so full over energy and when ever I see them play, he almost kills himself getting in my face (the shot with him point is a millisecond before he goes straight down on his face). seeing as they are members and ex-mebers of bane, barrit, and dasai, their guestlist looks like a book of "heavy hitters" from the middle-mass scene. by the time they played, outside was a flood and inside was so humid, but people still stayed and sang along.

rich somehow managed to hit himself with his own guitar. there's still pieces of skin on the guitar and blood on all of his pedals. he ended up getting ten stitches. ridiculous.
