there is some band on one of the shows listed at jarrods called children of tragety. there are 3 really hot girls in the bands but their music sucks.

Jarrod's sent a bullentin on myspace to tell anyone that cares that all shows(Local shows) are $10, Dude, no body goes there on purpose anyways, so they can choke on their $10 fees

PARTY AT JIM'S HOUSE

Funny story:

We agreed to do a show at Jarrods, just to be able to play with my friends band who is doing thier release party there. I wanted to ask a friends band to play, but there had been an incident the last time they played Jarrod's years ago, and I was afraid they weren't allowed there. I had my friend who was setting the show up email Joel to ask. His response? "The only band not allowed to play at Jarrods is Bane of Existence".

Haha, blacklisted by the shittiest club in America. However will you guys be able to continue your career after such a crushig blow?

how did BOE get banned from Jarrods? this must have a pretty good story behind it.

i called him on his shit and he didn't like it, while most bands woulda swallowed their pride and dignity just to still play there, we could careless about his crappy club as the incident was the final straw for me so i stood my ground and called his bluff needless to say we got banned haha

not really.This shit goes on way before the Meliah Rage show. How about
all day event that you and the bands you booked broke up my dressing room.
I haven't said shit about you guys to anyone but, I have so many people
telling me to ban you from my site for your remarks and bands telling
me that you guys hit me hard all the time on WAAF's page, which I don't
care to see. You guys have got nothing but, respect at this club. You guys got all pissy about a time slot change. I offered you a choice and you never defended it. If you had anything good to say about the venue you would have said it and you didn't so, as far as I and many are concerned your band is nothing but (trash). As far as All That Remains is concerned if they had anything bad to say then they should have said it to me. If they are pissed maybe they should have dealt with thier agent on it. I don't make up these tours. I just pay for them.

I don't even remember half the shit that happened, but if I remember correctly it all started up like this:
Aside from his usual shitty treatment of bands and obvious rip-off sessions, he started dicking us around and doing little shit. Finally, we just told him to fuck off. While Jim and him were bitching back and forth he admitted that this all started when I trashed a dressing room on a show we booked. Apparently, without telling us, that's when he started just being an asshole to us as some form of revenge. By the time the bickering began, though, it was too late to tell him that we never booked a show at his club, and that the only time I was ever in his dressing room was when a club employee brought me in to ask me to loan equipment… at which point the drunk headliner started whipping chairs.

That's awesome. We haven't played at Jarrods in so long, but that brings back a lot of memories. That ticket selling stuff ha ha... my god.
