Rumor flying around the Earache Records camp over at metaltracks.com, from information gathered from the mouths of Jeff Walker and Bill Steer of Liverpool goregrind superstars CARCASS and Adrian Erlandsson, Drummer of Swedish melodic-death masters AT THE GATES, at the recent Metal Hammer Awards in London suggest that both bands are considering reforming and going on tour together in the near future. However, as a clarification, it's been said that there are no plans for a new album between either act, just a tour.

this is too good to be true. Every time somebody asks me what bands I would like to see reformed, these are the ones.

I mean, honestly, it only says they're "considering" it. That means they might decide not to.

I would be incredibly suprised if they were even 'considering' this. Though they would make a pretty penny off this, even more than the current bands they are in if they toured.

I doubt Steer would do it, unless he's sick of firebird not really advancing.

I saw at the gates around 1995 at the rat in boston. it was like a monday afternoon show. there was about 20 people there. it was the best show nobody saw.

Was that with Napalm Death? I was there.

I am not responding emotionally to this until I'm out of the show after moshing my head off during both sets.

Speaking of emotion, I would probably actually cry tears of joy if this were to really happen. which it isn't gonna, as has already been established.

I think it's another stupid internet rumor. Or it's just something they're talking about but will never actually happen like that Rigor Mortis reuinion I've been waiting so long for.

I heard a rumor that Pantera was going to go on tour with them, along with jimi hendrix and janis Joplin.
