I don't think nuking the holy places of a billion people because of the extremist actions of 1% of their population is in any way a sane response to terrorism. A more reasonable suggestion would be to end our dependence on oil and stop giving trillions of dollars to the fanatical regime in Saudi Arabia. Hell, if we use alternative energy sources Saudi Arabia's economy would crash and the Saudi people could take care of the assholes in charge over there.
