yes, we got asked to play this show by a friend. a show is a show, we play plenty of shows where we dont get paid, we are fine with it. thats why we have jobs. $30 isnt gonna make us stars |

but playing a club the clearly rips off bands and has the reputation as jarrod's has, takes away from the integraty and respect of your band, from the scene and your fans.

threatened to sue me (cause i called him names on the internet)
banned us
kicked us off a show cause i called his club gay
moved us on a bill to opener cause we didn't sell enough of his gay tickets

yeah, he threatend to sue us, for double booking a night, after he never got back to us about a show. so we ended up just playing the other show. he ends up emailing us being like "i read in the phoenix that you were playing at the green room on my night, you are being sued for $600, the money i will lose from you not playing from the bar." |

which is why you should NEVER play his club or do business with him people like him only hurt the scene |
