whoah just walked in the door from watching it...since the rev was leaving for a show...i felt like i wanted to do something, only more locally...so i went to see it

i haven't been to a movie alone in a long time! i really enjoyed the movie and it made me jump a few times....i really got into it.

featuring val kilmer, christian slater, a former latina VS model, angelina Jolie's first husband and L L Cool J (among others)

here's the official synopsis:
On a remote island, the FBI has a training program for their psychological profiling division, called "Mindhunters", used to track down serial killers. The training goes horribly wrong, however, when a group of seven young agents discover that one of them is a serial killer, and is setting about slaying the others. Can the few that are left figure out who the killer is in time?

i won't ruin it if you decide to go see it...but i gave it 2 thumbs up

oh and this movie was due out in 2003...and it kept on getting delayed...it says it's rated R for sex and violence...it's mostly violence and blood, i thought the effects were cool

ohhh and saw some interesting previews:
batman returns starring CHRISTIAN BALE (kickass actor imho)
dark water same guy who wrote "the ring" and it was directed by the guy who did Motorcycle Diaries

as for the ring...i'm not a fan either, but this looked cool actually..basically this divorced woman (jennifer Connelly) and her little girl move into this apt...and weird things start happening

Not too bad of a flick. Not great. As a gun fanatic, I could name every gun just by sillouhette, and there was scenes of the same guy with a different gun every time the camera cut. Glock. Beretta.Glock.Beretta.Glock.Dead.

Pretty cool trap killings tho.

and yep the trap killings were pretty damn elaborate! i though tthe effects were pretty good as well

the ending sucked. I hate that "how many different characters can we make the audience think the killer is" bullshit.

And the whole, going off seperately until half the ppl are fucking dead, then realizing, 'hey lets stick together'

other than that, I thought it was a solid flick.
