uh, if the hound are at the gates worship, then peter paul and mary are satanic ritualists. i think the hound probably just heard that at the gates it the band everyone is ripping off these days and decided that it would be a good starting point. that bands about as metal as a wine cork.

hi, i play gutar in the hound. i never knew that people cared enough about our band to take the time to talk shit. that is the first sign that a band is good. that people take the time to actually write down how much they hate you.
first off i agree we dont really sound like at the gates. however, we did not "hear that everyone liked them and thought it was a good starting point". if anything i think we sound more like Wolverine Blues-era Entombed. i haven't really heard much hype about us other than " i liked them" or "they suck".
what it comes down to is that we play shows cause its fun dont like us? dont show up.

I meant to reply to this a while ago saying that I don't see the at the gates at all in their music. Then again, I don't really see the entombed sound either. I guess I'll have to wait to hear it on CD/LP.

the hound are awesome and they ruled when I saw them. totally did not expect what I saw the first time I caught them. They will play well on a show with draw blood. and someone tell graham to bring his distro to more shows.
