toggletoggle post by EyesAreBlind  at Apr 26,2005 1:35pm
I was going to buy tickets for this, but it was like 17 or 18 bucks. Rediculous

I\'ve been telling everyone about my underoath guilty pleasure, but when I do.. I feel like I just said I like the backstreetboys.

fear before the march of flames: I got in for their last 2 songs... unfortunately. I really need to get their CD at the station cause they are really good. their live show is typically super intense, but up on the high stage it was as much. the crowd wasn't really into it I guess... or they were just waiting for the x-tian bands to come on. too bad for them. they had all their normal lighting too which was cool, but it was drowned out some times by the house lighting which seemed to be on auto-pilot

these arms are snakes: I think they last time I reviewed these guys, I said the same thing.. features one guy from botch and it's funny... like jonny rotten from the sex pistols going into PublicImageLimited this guy frin bitch is now in a band that shounds the same. yesh!

the chariot: they played all songs from the CD I got the other day. it was pretty awesome. I love the CD. The singer was a bit more mod then I was thinking he'd be, but who cares about looks. the sound was pretty tight to the CD. after playing "before there was george, there was douglasville" the singer taking about the fact that they were from douglasville and invited all the people to come hang with them, giving directions to their house. at one point the singer crowd surfed, which was the most interaction I'd seen between the stage and the crowd so far tonight. he also told the crowd about jebus. they all cheered. I guess they were happily moshing into each other, for god.

holy shitty time... litterally.
it took me 2 1/2 hrs to get out of boston and home.
usually it's about 1 hr.

when I got up 95 a bit, I got the ugent feeling that you get about 2-3 hours after eating spikes. I'm going about 85 trying to rush to a gas station. a cop pulls out and bust ass to pull over the guy in front of me.
"yes!" I think "someone's looking out for me"
I race into the bathroom and am finishing up my business when I hear a *chink* noise.. I look down to see my keys sliding down into my business.
yeah.. that was shitty.

Rev!! You were there too!? Damnit! I didn;t see you, I thought I was all alone tonight hahaaha. What can I say I really like Underoath and I toured with them in 2002 so we've been friends for a while, I live right there and UO got me in so why the fuck not?

I just saw Underoath btu I was SUPER bummed they didn;t play "The sun still sleeps" Bummer.

toggletoggle post by tbone_r  at Apr 27,2005 7:11am
that's one of my favorite songs ever.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 27,2005 8:24am
I was super surprised that they didn\'t play it either. Probably cause they have a new singer.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 27,2005 11:51am
underoath: yes, they are a guilty little pleasure... Their set sounded really good. the new singer didn\'t have anything out of the monitors, I guess so his vocals weren\'t the best. the audience was basically there for them.. but it was odd. I felt like I was at a monkeys concert cause the front was all girls screaming and jumping up and down all excited. they mostly played songs from the new CD. they played an old one that reminds me of the sun still sleeps, but nope... not that song. they also played a new new track. I just don\'t realy remember it... I think it was a lot harder than the other stuff. they also expressed that they did their music for jebus and everyone rejoyced.

I totally agree. They did seem a little out of place for that show while the other bands were a bit harder, but they did rock. The old song they played was very good but I would have loved it if they had actually played When the Sun Sleeps. The new song they played is called I have Ten Friends and a Crobar That Says you Ain't Gonna do Jack.

i thought is was a good show. i heard from some other people who saw underoath before that their live show wasnt all that great. im happy to find out that they are wrong. i do wish they had played some older stuff rather than all new but i guess thats to be expected with a different singer and all. over all a very most excellent show!!

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Apr 28,2005 12:07pm
the new song was not ive got ten friends and a crow bar.. yes.. that song was not on the newest cd.. but it was on the special edition vinyl release of it and a sampler given out at the warped tour last summer... the new song that they did play hasnt been released yet to my knowledge.

toggletoggle post by tbone_r  at Apr 29,2005 12:00am
act of depression, cries of the past and the changing of times were all good. the new cd is a joke.

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Apr 29,2005 4:21pm
i dont understand why fearbefore doesnt get a good response from the crowd...to me, they put off one of the great shows..

toggletoggle post by JOEOQT  at Apr 29,2005 11:27pm
No that was the only song that hasnt been released on a new cd with all new songs. All of the other songs are on they're only chasing safety and changing of times

toggletoggle post by blckhrt at May 12,2005 12:54pm
i hope underoath's new shit is harder. sounded like it from the new song they played. one can only hope........
