Awesome show minus the shitheads that ran the bar and my car getting broken into. Short review:

The Mung: Tons of silly string, confetti and obnoxious noise. It ruled.

Held Under: Sounded great last night, did a very awesome cover of "Thrones of Blood" The sound was excellent for them for sure.

Dehumanized: WOW amazing set. They have an awesome stage presence. Seeing them on such a small stage and being so close helps me appreciate such tight musicianship. The whole floor was moving and I got the same feeling I used to get when I first started going to shows after the set. They played a ton of new stuff which is really good. I can tell they are going to get huge this year, or whenever they put a new cd out.

Putrid Pile: Oh man, they/he fucking ruled. One guy with guitar, microphone and drum machine and with some of the catchiest riffs ever. Played a solid set of stuff of "Collection of Butchery" and some old demo stuff and even a couple of new songs. He sounded just like the cd. If you ever get a chance to see this guy it's totally worth it. Badass.

Leukorreah: Good change of pace from just watching slam-type bands like Dehumanized and Putrid Pile. I couldn't reall hear the drums much. I think they have some really catchy riffs though.

Skinless: Awesome set, very interactive. Cool seeing them on such a small stage, it also brought me back and reminded what it was like to see them back in the day. Solid set and it seemed like everyone was into Jason as the new singer. He did a pretty sweet Liu-Kang style kick off the stage right into a girl's chest and she loved it.

yes, for the most part. here's what happened with that (it's very long):

a bunch of my friends were standing next to the "load-in" door during putrid Pile. my friend's girlfriend Candace was feeling really nausesous because there were so many people smoking in such a small place, so they cracked the door open for some fresh air. The midget lady that worked their FREAKED out on them and dragged some other douche bag over there and they just started yelling at them like crazy about how they were going to get fined for having the door opened, etc. The one guy just started getting completely out of line with my friend Mikey Little singer from the Mung)., just being a total asshole and while he was trying to explain what happened the employee told him to shut the fuck up. So basically how I got involved was I walk up to the guy and go "Don't tell him to shut the fuck up, he's trying to explain what happened. So then I had it out with both of those fucking retards. i was trying to explain that they're letting people smoke inside, and even though that there are about 20 signs that say you can't smoke in here you let everyone smoke but you freak out on a bunch of kids for cracking open a door? They didn't really have much to say other than just yell at me back, and the douche bag guy grabbed me and tried to throw me out until Jason said I was in the band. He got really pissed when I called the midget lady a dumb fuck. My friend Keef also yelled out "PUT THAT BITCH ON A LEASH" and she freaked out. Pretty stupid arguement, and the sound guy came over and smoothed everything out for the most part.

Later on during the end of Skinless' set Keef got up and headwalked a bunch of people and completely tackled that stupid midget cunt, it ruled. Then he ran to his car anf left as everyone in the bar looked for him.

hey justin - dude we'd love a place to crash if you can help us out or anyone you know. I don't think that kid that booked the show is putting us up. Some of us can sleep in the van even if whereever we stay has a small couch.
