The once mighty Black metal kings who made Dark medevil Times and Fucking Mother North have now converted to NU-FUCKING METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i thought Dimmu was bad thats nothing SAtyr needs to get his damn head examined

raping is very black metal. i wouldn't call them sellouts yet. satyr is good friends with the system of a down guitarist and joey jordison, so i guess that tour makes sense. i'm not going to say it is a good tour, but it makes sense if you consider the friendships involved.

alot of the bands that americans think are so underground and kvlt have MASSIVE followings in europe. this isnt that surprising. anyone whos seen satyricon and didnt think satyr was a...rock star...didnt pay attention. he acts like a rock star. he wants to be a rock star. whatever i dont really care. but i wont be going to see system of a down or slipknot, thats for damn sure.

Satyricon are awful, the only song that was actually good was mother north, the new stuff that came out was awful. even the bassist of suffocation doesn't like them. me and joe had a conversation with him at the mayhem convention about how bad they are.

Boy, does that really sucks? I mean damm, being in a band all this time and not making alot of money. and then having a chance to play in front of a completely different audience and making a few bucks. while doing the same music you started out doing and not have to gay out.
Maybe some of the black metal bands out there can start having a decent audience. Kids are impressionable, Show them the way so they don't go gay. 98percent of people here startred out listening to gay bands, and went underground overnite.

For me I actually like Slipknot and System of a Down and for Satyricon to tour with them is a good thing....I know people like Black metal to stay underground and have shitty recordings but I think having bands like Satyricon and Dimmu helps push the metal scene....When I started listening to Death Metal in 1990 I never thought I would still see half the bands around today and playing to bigger crowds....When I would go to Death or Morbid Angel concerts the wasn't half the crowd as there is today....Granted alot of good metal band don't get their props and make no money but just cause some bands do people want to start crying that they sold out.....on a personal note I like good recordings and being able to hear the riffs Black Metal bands play

Let's hope that death / black metal will be the next popular thing next to metalcore! I want to see necrophagist on MTV.

yeah, i still love satyricon. im not gonna go back and hate all the records that previous to them doing really retarded shit, i loved. satyricon is awesome. im sure there next record will be really great too, but everyone will pretend to hate it or whatever.

dimmu is a pretty big band. they played ozzfest. i know alot of kids who are into really good metal and always have been that looked like goth kids when they were 15 but could probably school anyone. i dont know, i think i just take issue with 'black metal = the new mall goth metal'. as far as im concerned, if a kid is into really good black metal and hangs out at the mall. its probably cuz hes 15 and on drugs and will eventually get over it be cool once someone punches him in the face.
