one time, I was in durham, and someone made a comment about how there are no black people in portsmouth. someone said "It's cause they stop them in on the way up at the tolls and if not, the police get them when they get there".

that night, I'm outside a bar waiting to get in... I see a black guy and a white girl, a bit drunk, sort of dancing across as they crossed the street. I reflect on the convo/joke from early in the day, handing my id to the bouncer. When I turned back around, the black guy was up against a police car and the white girl was crying.... it was sort of surreal.

Josh, I agree with you. It amazes me how blind and completely stupid that many people are. I blame the parents.
