and we all know japanese metal is awesome.

Crack Addict - http://sound.jp/crack_addict/
(black/death)

DeathChurch - http://www.geocities.co.jp/MusicHall-Horn/8050/index.html
(Raw fucking black metal with a hint of thrash)

Terror Squad - http://www.geocities.co.jp/MusicStar/7054/
(All-out thrashing insanity)

Gridlock - http://sound.jp/gridlock/index.html
(if Brutal Truth were a bunch of Japanese guys, and made sweet, sweet love with Napalm Death in 1991, and their kids hung out with Crytopsy, this is what they would sound like)

Code Red - http://homepage2.nifty.com/codered/index02.htm
(Total German thrash assault)

you forgot Shadow, they're like a Japanese Children of Bodom, just not as flashy \m/

there's a ton of bands i didn't list yet

i just got sick of doing it for the time being

and i dont like children of bodom

toggletoggle post by dreaminginexile   at Feb 14,2005 11:31am
the only thing I really like about Bodom is the lead guitar work, the lyrics suck ass, which is why 90% of them aren't published HAHAHA

toggletoggle post by KillerKadoogan   at Feb 14,2005 11:33am
yeah theyre talented and all, just not my cup of tea

although i suppose a japanese version would be better

toggletoggle post by dreaminginexile   at Feb 14,2005 11:35am
yeah, I have yet to be able to find their CD in stores around here. I heard them through a friend. But I'll agree, I'm getting tired of Bodom...

Death Church are awesome... I had problems downloading the other stuff due to computer gayness, so I cannot comment

toggletoggle post by KillerKadoogan   at Feb 14,2005 12:11pm
we're doing trades with a couple of these bands

code red sent their stuff wrapped in a japanese newspaper, which i attempted to read to no avail.

DeathChurch are nice and shittily produced

Now I am listening to Terror squad and my opinion is that they are definitely worthy of the description all-out thrashing insanity. Two thumbs up

terror squad is definitley a band i wish i had heard a long time ago

toggletoggle post by Hooker  at Feb 14,2005 12:36pm
None of them are better than Diamond Encrusted Shitcartilage.

EZO trumps all.

toggletoggle post by KillerKadoogan   at Feb 14,2005 12:39pm

toggletoggle post by paganmegan   at Feb 14,2005 12:42pm
The "check out these bands" threads are great for passing time at work and discovering new levels of musical brutality

toggletoggle post by KillerKadoogan   at Feb 14,2005 12:43pm
and making check out these bands helps me to pass the time at home with nothing to do.

it's a win win situation, really.

toggletoggle post by paganmegan   at Feb 14,2005 12:45pm
Agreed.
