i've been reading that its the best zelda game since the SNES one.

I'm just waiting to get really pulled into the story.
the minishing is an awesome idea to spin the game bigger. Though I'm guessing it's a lot shorter than a link to the past

its kind of shorter than a link to the past... there is a lot more sidequests and whatnot in this than LttP... but the overall bread and butter game is shorter.

what's the status of a link going to the ds?
I think they should work the DS games into the gamecube.. allowing daul use for them.

ahhh... the ocarina of time has a decent chance of getting ported to the DS... granted that LttP is a way better game... but whatever.

I played ocarina on an emu, but got stuck in a glitch.

hah. i had that same problem (if i think i know what youre talking about) for waaaay too long.

I keep climbing up the mountain and then down. I think I need to figure out two things
1) what the hell those glowing squares do
2) where to find some blue or green seeds.

you wont find out what the glowing squares do until later.

and you dont need to find blue or green seeds. the only time you need to do anything with a green seed is when youre all minished and you need to lift the green seed out of that passage and stick it in the ditch nearby. then water it with the green mineral water.

yeah, I've already done the water thing there...
time to re-think.

I hate the fact that I can see minish things all over the town, but can't get to them.
on the DS, I get like 10 hours on this game.

yeah, the one thing that annoys me about the game is the fact that youre constantly going over the same areas over and over and over. and then you get new abilities and then you have to go that same area and go over it 42636 times more.

yeah, the map looks small

you dont HAVE to go to the same areas a billion times... most of those things you cant get to at one point and then CAN finally get to when you have a new ability are just rupees or mysterious shells... both of which you dont need. you can skip that stuff and beat the game no problem without them.

I've been through all the same spots like a billion times.
mostly cause I didn't know about the keystone BS.
I haven't gotten more then 10 minute a day in the bathroom for this game...
I'm on the 3rd element.
