I got one and just got it up and running. I always thought they were really stupid and overhyped but of course I love it now that I have one. I like how it can convert WMP files to APP files so they can be added to your library.

call me old fashioned, but i prefer good old cd's. albums. that i can listen to all the way through. from begining to end. and when i'm done, i know i'm done because ive got to get another album.

i love it because at the moment, i have over 400 cds loaded into it... having almost every song that i posess held within a little metal box the size of a cigarrette pack is mighty handy, i'll say. i can listen to anything i have, anywhere, anytime i want.

how else can you make your entire cd collection portable??

i appreciate the novelty...but it just makes music too impersonal for me. i'm weird about my music though

i've been a happy ipod user for the last 2.5 years. the only thing that sucks is the shitty battery life.

what was up with that report last year that the battery only lasts 18 months, or did that end up being false? (only non-Apple employees need reply)

I heard about that dude, and I still have no idea whether it was true or not, but dreadkill just said he's had his for 2 and a half years, so I guess it's false.
