well, my web-companies been having major issues lately.
I've been fretting about it, watched NBC and ABC "reports" on the company, etc, but finally the future of my hosting is not in the dark. http://atlantic.net/ bought out my old company http://featureprice.com/ so things should be back to normal here.

I was in my old apartment, it was 11:55am, I had to be out of there in 5 minutes with the whole place spot-less so the landlord could reclaime it. I decided to do a once over of the cabinets.
and what do I find? a spilt 1/4 gallon of molases in on of the draws.
I was pissed.

well, the apartment I moved into 2 years ago was awesome for it's location/price, but there were 5 hippies living in a 2 bed room apartment.
The place stunk and I had to clean it out and paint for 1 1/2 weeks. Of cours,e I didn't really clean out the cabinets and there was all sorts of stuff in there chai, tons of spices, flour, organic crap, and yes, a huge bottle of molases. Though, I used it a few time to make enadama bread and some apple crisp during those long cold winters. wait, shut up, I'm a good cook if you believe it.

dood, lay off the fuckin clickin' banners and shit switchin' around. its like fuckin mp3.com almost. that site drives me up the fuckin wall. fuck that place. and i have cable, plus i tweaked my registry for more performance. but its annoying with shit snappin and clickin every fuckin 4 seconds.

it's the top bar, it refreshes once every 5 minutes. It updates that little middle part with new info and changes the pictures.

Oh, if you don't like the clicking, just turn off the sound.
I always turn off all windows sounds on my PCs. Nothing sucks more than doing some digital studio work and in the middle you get a "bloop" or "click" from windows.

actually, I had a old-school friend ask me monday night about the server issues and such.
I said "oh, it's all fine" and then thought "should I back up the databases? naw, it's all set"
