The line 6 spider II. Its the only one i can afford which i cant really afford anyways but i cant stand using that peavey combo as a head anymore. Ive got a decent sound for what im using but id sound so much better with a real head.

the only thing i've bought from them were amps & cables.
thats the only thing you should buy from musicians friend. i dont trust them with large pieces of wood that could be seriously affected by weather changes during shipping. cus they dont take responsibility for them. ive heard horror stories about them and guitars. i only let them deal with electronics stuff that they cant fuck up.

good choice for an inexpensive head. quite versatile for the money. and the thing has more gain than one person could possibly ask for. which means its good.
i was gonna order the 5150 from them, but i ended up getting a 5150 II from daddys for the same price and after my trade in stuff im actually only spending $577 after tax
