looks like it was a real good turnout!!!!

conifer: conifer playing rhode island was basically the reason I wanted to come to this show. they only had a 30 minute set so it was basically one long song and then a short one. the sound was pretty excelent for them. the livingroom definitly ads a nice flavor to bands that sound like conifer. Funny how many photographers were there shooting them. unfunny is how bad all my pictures of their set are.

the disappearer: like I said last time, this is member of the band there were wires. no vocals, just experimental rock. slow and prauding with a lot of the music changed generated from the guitarist bending his guitar. their set seemed extremely short... compared to the library show. they also sounded so much better, compared to the library show.

the chinese stars: I'm not really a fan of them, but I know that a lot of people were there to see them.

high on fire: the front row had tons of people freaking out to them. it shoulded great. I wasn't a fan of them in the past, but I think that I'll give their cd another chance.

holy shit i was pretty fucked up that night. good show though. i was off in a closet getting wasted all night. i only went up when high on fire started playing. never heard them before and i cant say i rememebr what they souded like but i do remember enjoying myself. the crowd was pretty laid back except for the guys in the front pissing their pant over the band. You know its a shitty moshpit when you can smoke a couple of bolls with your buddies right in the middle of it.

I like that guy's vocals

i wasnt wearing earplugs so it was all a bit screechy but he kinda sounded like Lemmy if i remember correctly.

This show was one of the best I've ever attended, Conifer played one of the best sets though unfortunately short, but they opened so I wasn't surprised.

The Disappearer was instrumental, it was okay but didn't really do alot for me, I'd like to check them out again because when they played I was talking to everyone and shit.

I heard alot of negative stuff about Chinese Stars before this show, but overall I liked them. Some of it was too cheesy for me, but I was sold on the vocals in the end. I want to see them again.

High on Fire was awesome, sometimes touring headliners play too long (like Napalm Death and Cannibal Corpse for instance), but High on Fire played for a perfect amount of time. They are coming back in march, or so I hear.

They're coming back in February on tour with Kylesa but the closest is NYC. Unless, there's dates added in March.
