ATTN bands playing this show, we need the use of a drumset this show, our transportation is all fucked up, and we are up shit creek...without a drumset, so anybands playing if you would like to let us use your drumkit it would be greatly appreciated, because otherwise we are doing dissector un-plugged! please dont make us do that...

toggletoggle post by armageddonday   at Nov 11,2004 12:33pm
Sorry, I took the day off yesterday, I had to make 2 pots of soup for the next 2 shows...started getting wasted way to early last night. Joe gave you the directions anyway.
A lot of crusties are in town, back from cranberry harvest so I think this show is going to be fun..

You go TO shows in Boston, not AT... TO! I am trying to teach you.

I go to good shows in Providence all the time!

toggletoggle post by Dissector   at Nov 11,2004 7:28pm
I won't be able to make it and play drums. This situation broke out at home almost resulting in me getting kicked out. Long story. The rest of Dissector are still going and I think they have something special planned.

Sorry.

we got a new drummer

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Nov 12,2004 1:42am
heh

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 12,2004 1:55am
not only did I see a dog throw up right before the show, on my way to my car to head home, I saw a soroctitude with a huge ass meticulously tie her hair back and then vomit on the street. ah... the thing you learn on thestreets of pvd... like how many kids that mark kevorkian wants.. and that crusty punks eat sardines, gross... I need to learn to never put my camera down.

dissector: their drummer got grounded or something so he couldn't come out to the show. they still showed up and played a set with out him. they got through 3 songs and then john (abhorred) came out and played 2 songs with them. he was pretty much playing right along with them except for the end of the songs. when "it came from the nut sack" came out, ben (abhorred) got up there and played drums with them it was cool cause they started off with and "unplugged" version and then when into a gore-version with ben playing drums.

neoprophets: members of nefarious. crusty metal punk. it sounded really good for their first show. reminded me of requiem. all the members of the band sang. Anne came in and sang a song with them too (man, her pipes are huge!).

abhorred: they played one song and eric broke a string. I think he borrowed dissector's guitar. they covered a watchmaker song. mark came up on stage and tried to sing with them, but the mic was dead. someone from the crowd kept yelling "thrash metal". well that's providence for you.

endless nightmare: good old school punk/metal. three people singing. the crowd went crazy... I thought that phobiagirl and a couple other people in the crowd were going to die. the band sort of reminded me of straight to hell.

Endless Nightmare rules!

toggletoggle post by armageddonday   at Nov 12,2004 12:46pm
The show was good, I had fun but the turnout sucked, that's the 2nd time in 2 months, drive me nuts. This is when I feel like I'm done booking shows. All this work to end up going at the ATM to pay the bands...

Beside that the after show party was really intense...first off we stayed outside AS220 for a while waiting for some friends who were at the bar next door. Got almost in 2 fights, 4 of us yelling Fist Of Fury to everyone who walked by.Then we went to Brian who lives 2 houses down from my place, stayed there until 4 am listening to the Misfits, Varukers, Chaos UK..all singing along, circle pit in the living room, lots of beer, 3 naked guys, piles of people on the floor every five minutes. Then Andy jumped on the coach and broke a widow, and Brian's roomate got up and punch him in the face, he almost got one back from me, but instead we went back to my place, drink some more, smoke, and then my roomate Troll got insane he took the huge non-working TV from the living room and try to throw it outside, I tryied to stop him cause of the neighboors downstairs by sitting on the TV with the cord around my legs...the bastard was still pulling the fucking thing, then my knee got hurt and I had to let it go...the TV went down the stairs and the house shaked.
I also got bite from Mike from Nefarious, it really hurt, but I think Ibite him first on his lower lip...
Fucking crazy night.

toggletoggle post by armageddonday   at Nov 12,2004 4:47pm
Yeah and I always been able to find my way in Holland, Sweden, and Danemark just because I speak both English and German...I mean, reading directions, remembering street names/landmarks,not get confused at trains stations/buses this is really easy for me.

i'll give you a point for writing "useless" unlike the "usless" poll option on this site that i have told aaron to correct at least 5 times and he usually answers "I thought i fixed that.."

Well, yeah I knew I was supposed to take the green line but I totally didn't know what stop to take. Dude, seriously if you can take the subway in Paris and London you can take the subway anywhere. Boston is a joke next to the other 2.
