we first heard about this beginning of september..

i asked my boss about it and he said "don't worry about it"

and then ram girl asked our bosses, boss who said our boss was going to let us know what was up..

then today...please do this...
no email no nothing...everyone just sat in front of my cube because i had a million and one questions...and no definite answers...

if you want me to fill something out with a million selections to choose from give me some official guidelines so that i don't label doing a project as X while my coworker calls it Y

and now today they tell us to fill this out RETRO to september 1st

I do my work, which is why I have been here 6+ years and have made it through numerous payoffs. Therefore, I am not worried, I just think with all we have to do this is stupid.

Scenario:
You work at McDonalds. Your manager comes to you and says “every week I need you to fill this out, please account for”
How much time you spent on cooking hamburgers
How much time you spent on working the drive thru
How much time you spent on making fries
How much time you spent on mopping the floor
How much time you spent on working the cash register
And so on…..
Pretty ridiculous, right

It is just petty corporate bullshit. We are salary and get paid for 40 hours only, what about the 60+ hour work weeks we get stuck with and the on-call time where our personal lives is affected. There is nothing to account for that.
